About the Author...
Christy K. Truitt is a native of the Deep South and has always lived near a river. Originally
from Demopolis, Ala., Christy and her husband live with their four children in Auburn, Ala. A graduate of Auburn University,
Christy is a former Auburn Tigerette, Plainsman News Editor and Auburn Student Recruiter. She currently works for Auburn University
College of Sciences and Mathematics as an associate editor in the communications department. She also serves on the Council
Advisory Board of the Sigma Lambda Chapter of Kappa Delta. Christy is a member of Auburn United Methodist Church where she
feels "blessed to be loved by a Lord by grace and not by merit!"
